How do I Buy a Gun?

To legally own a firearm, you’ll need to obtain a Firearms Safety Certificate, which can be acquired at any gun store. The test consists of 30 questions, and a minimum score of 70% is required to pass.

We strongly recommend test-firing and ensuring the firearm fits you properly before making a purchase. Take the time to learn about the gun and clearly understand its intended purpose. Kent at Golden State Armory is dedicated to helping you find the perfect firearm for your needs!

Recommended Gun Stores: Golden State Armory in Thousand Palms (ask for Kent), Turner’s Outdoorsman in Palm Desert, and Independence Guns and Ammo in Yucca Valley (be sure to mention Kim sent you!).
